FASHION ADVISOR

We’re looking for new talented individuals to join our growing retail team here at HYPE Clothing Co. We are now hiring for both Part time and Full time Fashion Advisor positions for our HYPE boutiques in Johor Bahru.

Fashion Advisor will be responsible for facilitating the completion of day-to-day operations in store at HYPE. Tasks will vary depending on where assistance is needed most. You will be expected to aid in all areas including direct sales, customer service, stock management and organization, and general in store upkeep. You will work with other staff to ensure HYPE continues to perform and serve at its optimal level delivering the highest quality retail experience.

Location:-

  • City Square, Johor Bahru
  • AEON Mall Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru
  • Dataran Pahlawan Megamall, Melaka
  • 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with outlet daily operations
  • To welcome, smile and approach customers displaying a cordial attitude and a willingness to serve
  • Handle in-store customer service and care to deliver quality shop experience
  • Fulfilling and handling direct sales
  • To be familiar with the sales targets and aim to achieve and exceed them, individually and as a team
  • Assisting in opening and closing duties
  • To provide support by maintaining an optimal store image that is attractive to customers at all times
  • Creating and organizing in-store displays and shop aesthetic
  • Organization and inventory management of new product shipments

Qualifications and Assets:-

  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Previous experience in retail and customer service an asset
  • Strong passion in fashion, in particular of HYPE as a company and a brand
  • Familiarity with products and brands carried at HYPE
  • Flexible schedule
  • Self-motivated

MARKETING MANAGER

We’re looking for talented & dynamic individuals to be part of our marketing team at HYPE Clothing & Co.

A visionary leader who primary responsibility is to plan and manage all marketing, advertising, publicity as well as promotional events for HYPE Clothing Co.

Location:-

SILC, GELANG PATAH, JOHOR

Responsibilities:-

  • Plans and directs advertising, public relations, and promotional events and strategies for the assigned brand(s)
  • Develop media relations policy
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain local, national, and international relations
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain media contacts for disseminating information
  • Arrange interviews for and regularly briefs company officials on sensitive and/ or controversial issues; recommend public relations course of action in crisis and in routine public relations situations
  • Frequently act as company spokesperson, representing officials at media interviews and company meetings with approval from Directors
  • Interpret company programs for the media and the public, including retail business areas peculiar to the company
  • Coordinates ceremonies, press conferences, and other events or special projects
  • Oversees and manage company use of contracted advertising and public relations
  • Manages the advertising, public relations, and promotional budget by writing the narrative, projecting costs, determining necessary adjustments and reviewing expenditures in consultation with the Directors

Qualifications & Assets:

  • Possess a degree or equivalent in Marketing/Business Management or related field.
  • At least 5 years in managerial post for Marketing/PR/Advertising in a Retail industry.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Extensive marketing knowledge & expertise.

CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Customer Service Associate assists existing and potential HYPE customers by consistently exceeding their needs via superior product knowledge and an exceptional level of service. They are a key point of contact for clients with regards to questions on product details, fit and reference as well as e-commerce logistics, facilitating returns and exchanges as well as resolutions. Provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that clients might face with accuracy and efficiency.

Location:-

SILC, GELANG PATAH, JOHOR

Responsibilities:-

  • Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail, or social media.
  • Use telephones to reach out to customers and verify account information.
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling.
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges.
  • Advise on company information.
  • Handle matters in regards to membership.
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers.
  • Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale.
  • Suggest solutions when a product malfunctions.
  • Inform customer of deals and promotions.
  • Compile reports on overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Assets:-

  • Good brand awareness

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

This position requires the individual to perform a variety of moderately complex accounting activities related to the payment and receipt of money. He/she is responsible for general accounting function – to compute, classify and record numerical data into the company’s accounting system.

Location:-

SILC, GELANG PATAH, JOHOR

Responsibilities:-

  • Responsible for timely and correct data entry into accounting system. Maintain journal entries, account allocation for invoices & official receipts.
  • Fully responsible on recognize and define problems in the reported data; maintains and reconciles accounting data that is having discrepancies; research questionable entries and initiates corrective measures; resolves out-of-balance conditions.
  • Assist in closing of monthly accounts in a timely manner and ensure all transactions are captured correctly and accurately with error free.
  • Responsible to prepare monthly bank reconciliation and reconciles inter-company accounts balances.
  • Compiles various documents, verifies their accuracy, and ensure all accounting transactions are fully supported by relevant documents.
  • Assists in preparing audit schedules for external and internal auditors.
  • Maintain balance sheet schedule which may include, but are not limited to Fixed Assets Schedule, Accrual Schedule, Pre-payment Schedule & Deposit Schedule.
  • Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agencies.

Qualifications & Assets:

  • Possess a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • A minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Detail-oriented and strong work ethics.
  • Can work independently.
