FASHION ADVISOR (based in respective outlet)

We’re looking for new talented individuals to join our growing retail team here at 
HYPE Clothing Co. We are now hiring for both Part Time and Full Time Fashion Advisor positions for our HYPE boutiques nationwide.

Location:

  • Level 4 City Square, JB
  • Ground Floor, AEON Bukit Indah, JB
  • Upper Ground Floor, Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka
  • 2nd Floor, One Utama, PJ

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with outlet daily operations
  • To welcome, smile and approach customers displaying a cordial attitude and a willingness to serve
  • Handle in-store customer service and care to deliver quality shop experience
  • Fulfilling and handling direct sales
  • To be familiar with the sales targets and aim to achieve and exceed them, individually and as a team
  • Assisting in opening and closing duties
  • To provide support by maintaining an optimal store image that is attractive to customers at all time.
  • Creating and organizing in-store displays and shop aesthetic
  • Organization and inventory management of new product shipments

 

Qualifications and Assets:
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
Previous experience in retail and customer service an asset
Strong passion in fashion, in particular of HYPE as a company and a brand
Familiarity with products and brands carried at HYPE
Flexible schedule

Self-motivated

MARKETING MANAGER (based in HQ)

We’re looking for talented & dynamic individuals to be part of our marketing team at HYPE Clothing & Co.

A visionary leader who primary responsibility is to plan and manage all marketing, advertising, publicity and promotional events for the HYPE Clothing & Co.

Location:
Johor Bahru

Responsibilities:

  • Plans and directs advertising, public relations, and promotional events and strategies for the assigned brand(s)
  • Develop media relations policy
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain local, national, and international relations
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain media contacts for disseminating information
  • Arrange interviews for and regularly briefs company officials on sensitive and/ or controversial issues; recommend public relations course of action in crisis and in routine public relations situations
  • Frequently act as company spokesperson, representing officials at media interviews and company meetings with approval from Directors
  • Interpret company programs for the media and the public, including retail business areas peculiar to the company
  • Coordinates ceremonies, press conferences, and other events or special projects
  • Oversees and manage company use of contracted advertising and public relations
  • Manages the advertising, public relations, and promotional budget by writing the narrative, projecting costs, determining necessary adjustments and reviewing expenditures in consultation with the Directors

Qualifications & Assets:

Possess a degree or equivalent in Marketing/Business Management or related field.

At least 5 years in managerial post for Marketing/PR/Advertising in a Retail industry.

Strong leadership skills.

Extensive marketing knowledge & expertise.

 

 

 

 

 

FASHION DESIGNER (based in HQ)

Fashion Designer is the creative brain behind HYPE products. The main role is to be in charge of the design and development of clothing and other fashion products. Fashion designer in charge of guiding all steps of the design process, from initial conception to final manufacture and marketing.

Location:
Johor Bahru

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Conceptualize new designs & sketches based on upcoming market, fashion & season trends.
  • Explore new fashion concepts through experimenting with incentive design, techniques and garment constructions.
  • Responsible in trend analysis
  • Work closely with merchandising department on fabric sourcing and product sampling, measurement guidelines etc.
  • Discuss ideas with marketing & retail teams on new styles, brand directions & market demands.
  • Travel required.

                                                

Qualifications and Asset:
Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in fashion industry.

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.

Strong knowledge and passion in fashion and market trends.

ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT (based in HQ)

Administration Assistant is one of the key support for the organization. The main role is to provide administrative function to ensure efficient operation of the department. Fashion designer in charge of guiding all steps of the design process, from initial conception to final manufacture and marketing.

Johor Bahru

 

Responsibilities:

  • Key-in data into system
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Order office supplies
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests
  • Handle multiple projects
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Take accurate minutes of meetings

 

Qualifications and Asset:
Fresh graduate are welcome.

Diploma in Business Management, Secretarial or related field

Proficient in MS Office  

Willing to learn new things & able to follow orders

Strong organizational & documenting skills.
